Stephanie Ruiz
Stephanie Ruiz is a First-Generation college graduate who recently earned her Master of Social Work degree from Ramapo College of New Jersey. She brings a strong background in nonprofit administration, community engagement, and social service support to the Mimi Washington Starrett Foundation. Her experience across multiple mission-driven organizations has strengthened her passion for community-centered work and deepened her commitment to creating meaningful impact through service, advocacy, and collaboration.
Throughout her academic and professional experiences, Stephanie has developed skills in case management support, program coordination, and nonprofit operations while working closely with diverse communities and multidisciplinary teams. She is especially passionate about initiatives that expand access to resources, strengthen community well-being, and foster equitable opportunities for individuals and families. Her approach is grounded in empathy, organization, and a genuine dedication to helping others.
As Foundation Administrator at the Mimi Washington Starrett Foundation, Stephanie supports the organization’s daily operations and ongoing philanthropic efforts throughout the greater Morris County community.
