We are a grantmaking foundation supporting nonprofit organizations that have a meaningful impact on the well-being and economic development of the greater Morris County community. We focus in areas of health, addiction, and homelessness; animal welfare; equal education opportunities; access to the arts; and environmental and historical preservation.
We are a foundation supporting the greater Morris County, NJ community through grantmaking and beyond. A bi-annual grant cycle provides opportunities for funding nonprofit organizations which align with our mission. There are also opportunities Beyond Grantmaking to connect, learn, and collaborate with the Foundation, other nonprofit organizations, and members of the community.
The Mimi Washington Starrett Foundation is proud to support 36 nonprofit organizations doing critical work to improve the lives of our neighbors throughout Morris County.
